Responsible for (1) financial analysis and support for various projects and M&A transactions, (2) closing, estimate and budgetary processes for the Companys external segment reporting and several Corporate departments, (3) implementing and maintaining adequate internal controls and adherence to Sarbanes-Oxley, (4) supervising and developing a team of three associates, and (5) identifying and implementing improvements in processes.

Deliver financial insight for various projects and transactions, including new corporate initiatives and potential new business ventures. Develop financial models to evaluate the financial feasibility and viability of new projects, deliver analysis to inform decision-making, and provide recommendations from a finance perspective. Participate in financial due diligence, identify and communicate potential issues and involve others as appropriate. Review proposed contracts and provide feedback to the legal team.
Responsible for the Companys external segment reporting for actuals, estimates, and budget. Ensure completeness, accuracy and appropriate segmentation. Analyze results versus prior year, budget and prior estimate. Highlight variances and trends to senior management.
Responsible for documenting segmentation of new businesses in accordance with ASC 280-10 (formerly FAS 131).
Provide financial and accounting guidance and support to several Corporate departments.

Oversee the monthly, quarterly and year-end close and estimate processes, as well as the preliminary and final budget. Ensure completeness, accuracy and proper accounting treatment
Lead the team to ensure Financial Reporting deadlines are met, including strategic planning and coordination with the various department heads and other corporate departments
Provide guidance to staff to assist them in seeing the big picture in order to effectively communicate the areas of focus to the department heads.
Bridge and explain variances between actuals, budget, and plan. Identify and communicate risks and opportunities.
Support various internal and external reporting processes, including year-end schedules in support of the Companys 10-K.
Maintain and execute adequate internal controls for area and update Sarbanes-Oxley control narratives as needed.
Drive efficiency and effectiveness through continuous improvement.
Research technical pronouncements that impact Corporate.
Train and develop associates. Evaluate performance.


Experience: 10+ years of experience, including Big Four or Corporate accounting/reporting experience, Corporate Finance, Business Strategy & Development, or Investment Banking. Public company experience preferred.

Education: Minimum four year degree in Accounting/Finance. CPA preferred.
