Summer MBA Internship: Strategic Manager - Calvin Klein Job in New York, VT

POSITION SUMMARY:
PVH is one of the largest apparel companies in the world. The company manages a diversified portfolio of brands with rich American heritages including Calvin Klein, Tommy Hilfiger, Van Heusen, Izod, Warner's, Olga, True&Co., among other owned and licensed brands. Our operational expertise, dedicated teams and commitment to each brand's differentiated market positioning allow us to gain market share and expand our reach globally.

The Strategy team develops and implements strategic plans to grow the Calvin Klein & The Underwear Group businesses in North America. We work closely with the leadership team to embed change. Reporting into the VP of Strategy, the MBA intern will be responsible for supporting the team across various initiatives. The internship will be in our NYC office and will last ten weeks from early June to mid-August.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES / ACCOUNTABILITIES OF THE JOB:
Develop hypothesis and analysis to solve business questions, present findings and recommendations to the Strategy team, and define roadmap to implementation
Identify key areas of opportunities from market and consumer research
Leverage analytical capabilities to build best-in-class processes to drive efficiencies
Provide support in managing a cross-functional strategic project, driving alignment across teams and communicating out to stakeholders
Provide support in creating strategic and business presentations

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

Education / Experience / Skills
Bachelors degree required; MBA in progress
2+ years work experience demonstrating strategic thinking & project management e.g. investment banking, management consulting, business analytics, consumer retail, etc.
Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
Strong interpersonal skills, ability to foster and maintain cross-functional relationships
Strategic, operational, and analytical skills
Strong in business strategy and project management execution
Confident, compelling communicator with strong presentation skills
Ability to adapt within fast-pace environment
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
