POSITION SUMMARY:
Is subject to one of the following descriptions and any combination of responsibilities:
Provide Logistics support in the shipping and distribution of PVHs freight for the retail divisions. Monitor carrier performance to ensure the timely movement and delivery of freight from the Jonesville DC through the Retail Hub network supply chain to the retail stores. Assist the Retail Transportation Manager with all aspects of the retail supply chain including store fixture moves and new store openings. Report operational and statistical cost data to management.
Set up and maintain routing and shipping information within warehouse management systems of ACS and PKMS for the purpose of ensuring shipments are made to correct customer locations via the appropriate transportation mode and method.
Provide operational and administrative transportation support to Warehousing and Distribution, Customer Service, and the Wholesale Divisions in regard to scheduling loads, expediting hot shipments, routing misdirected freight, and assisting the warehouses with inquiries about the inbound truckloads. Monitor all inbound freight shipments for all warehouses.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES OF THE JOB:
Monitor the transportation activity associated with getting merchandise through the supply chain for prompt delivery to the retail stores.
Using Truckload and LTL carrier service reports and communication from the field, identify service issues, document and communicate these issues to Retail Transportation Manager.
Provide a high level of Customer Service by being responsive to Store Operations and Design and Construction departments request.
Daily interface with carriers to ensure that PVHs freight handling policies and procedures are being followed.
Monitor carrier OS&D (Over/Short/Damage) program and insure reporting compliance is within established dept. guidelines.
Coordinate all transportation services for store fixtures from the various vendors and also between stores.
Coordinate the arrival of store fixtures and merchandise for New Retail Store Openings and also transfer fixtures from closing or remodeled stores.
Begin initial retail claims process. Respond to any carrier that questions or disputes a claim.
Conduct Carrier Audits on Carrier OS&D reports.
Reporting responsibilities include Hub activity, OS&D activity, Traffic operations overview, and Retail Hub network transportation cost by division, by carrier.
Review customer routing guides
Update WMS routing file
Set up new accounts in system
Maintain carrier SCAC code data base-required to bill shipments
Scheduling truckloads to PVH warehouses
Updating ACS with the Available and ETA Delivery Dates for 3PL Freight
Review and direct action for PVH warehouses concerning air authorization requests
Monitor all inbound freight
Coordinate and direct action for all refused shipments
Maintain and distribute air and premium service reporting for all PVH divisions.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

Experience: 1-4 years domestic transportation experience, software systems (Microsoft Word and Excel), and a working knowledge of warehouse management systems.

Education: Bachelors Degree with a concentration in Logistics or Business.
Equivalent experience also qualifies candidate.

Skills:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Knowledge of contract carriers, small package carriers, third party logistics, and Blanket wrap van line transportation.
Claim filing and basic laws that govern carrier claims.
Knowledge of receiving and shipping processes
Able to multi-task and prioritize workload
