About the job
Interns for the Accessories & Footwear design studio at CALVIN KLEIN will learn, hands-on, how we research, design, construct, source, present, and collaborate with overseas licensees. Theyll also aid in the quality-control of design execution and tech-pack production.
What youll do:
Extensive fashion/art research (online/print, etc)
Sketching by hand, coloring and CAD-ing images
Assist in the assembly of technical packages (basic garment specs, detailed construction notes, and trim information)
Assemble design inspirational packets
Collate design decks
Swatching materials and maintaining material library
Management of inventory in sample closet
What were looking for:
Currently enrolled in a full-time undergraduate or graduate Fashion Design or Footwear/Accessory design program
Knowledge of Design & Art History
Familiar with accessory and/or footwear construction
Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel and Outlook for general day to day tasks
Experience using Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign
Must be well organized, detail oriented, efficient, good w/time management, and ready to support at a moments notice

The CALVIN KLEIN Summer Intern program is open to those currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program and will run from June 3, 2019 to August 9, 2019. You must be eligible to work in the US and able to work full time hours Mon-Fri for the duration of the 10-week program. This is a paid internship program.
Application deadline is 5PM EST on Friday, March 8, 2019.
