About the job


The Junior Account Executive is responsible for selling to small volume accounts, managing the business to grow market share, achieving sales plans, and increasing the profitability of the division.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES OF THE JOB:
Work with account executives and planning team to monitor retail OTBs.
Receive timely confirmation of orders and track monthly shipments.
Present product line to accounts and sell suggested product mix by account.
Check top samples for quality and customer hangtags prior to sending to customer.
Create and maintain color selling by account on a weekly basis.
Manage small volume accounts and track selling of accounts
Independently follow-up on account needs.
Create and maintain line sheet by account after market.
Review style selling/seasonal item trackers.
Organize samples and handle showroom appointments.
Coordinate set-up and organization of showrooms.
Send ad samples to accounts.


QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
Experience:
2 to 4 years of related experience
Retail store experience desired.

Education: Bachelors degree.

Skills:
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Exceptional interpersonal/customer-focus and communication skills.
Strong problem solving/analytical skills with retail math aptitude.
Strong presentation skills.
Comfortable with the concept of personal accountability.
Strong entrepreneurial spirit and willingness to do what it takes to get job done.
Goal oriented and self-motivated team player.
Limited travel as necessary
