The Senior Manager Business Process Point of Sale role primarily focuses on the commercial business process. The role helps develop, analyze, optimize and document business processes across the Asia region.
The Senior Manager will initially manage the Business Process activities for the current and future point of sale systems, in coordination with the overall regional IT team and the global SAP Business Process Team. The role will contribute to process optimization, support process discovery, validation and analysis of current and future state processes through modeling using BPM techniques, and help define and optimize how relevant business information flows throughout the enterprise
The Senior Manager will work seamlessly with the broader Business Process team and partner with the Global Business Process team to align retail processes globally and ensure operational excellence across the organization. They will also work closely with cross-functional partners to align technical solutions with business needs and enhance the connectivity of the business units, regions, functional areas and IT solutions/systems.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Accountable for performance and results of the commercial business process deliverables Primarily the POS / Retail Store systems and the SAP S4 Fashion program
Apply a structured business architecture approach and methodology for capturing current state of the enterprise, desired future state, and plan to get to the end state through logical, planned tactics.
Gather business requirements from subject matter experts in the Asia region and validate that the system functionality will support the business needs.
Conduct Change Impact analysis to business processes. Assist business partners to define their from/to change impacts and develop adoption action plans
Effectively collaborate and coordinate between IT, business and other functions to ensure consistent levels of detail in the business process models
Contribute as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) with strong knowledge in assigned business areas; both current state and opportunities to improve
Identify opportunities for increased efficiency through new tools and techniques. Participate in system process reviews and testing to examine output and alignment to business requirements
Maintain strong relationships with business partners to achieve a robust and sustainable governance model
Present senior leadership with project status and progress updates, timelines, and challenges
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
Experience:
Minimum 8 years of business experience in retail: store operations, planning, allocation, master data, etc.
Apparel or consumer products company experience preferred; ideally fast-moving, multi-channel business with global manufacturing/sourcing.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in managing business processes for a global organization.
Minimum of 3 years of experience influencing key decision makers or senior executives in a large, cross-functional team setting.
Prefer Process Modeling, Process Improvement / BPM, Project Management and Change Management experience
Prefer experience with SAP and/or other ERP systems and business process mapping tools (ARIS, VISIO etc.)
Education:
Bachelors degree is required.
Skills:
Strong knowledge of retail systems and processes
Practical experience designing and documenting business processes and sub-processes.
Strong Change Management expertise
Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines and handle multiple projects simultaneously
Ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive lasting business change
Self-motivated with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Fluent with tools to document business processes, such as ARIS, Visio, etc.
Ability to maintain poise and positivity in fast-paced rapidly changing environment
Proven analytical, change and project management skillsets
