POSITION SUMMARY:
The temporary position will require the candidate to work full-time, Monday through Friday. The daily tasks will support the IT-Purchasing function.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES OF THE JOB:
Evaluate IT proposals, assist in identifying possible solutions, provide quotes to IT Technicians, and assist with order placement for complex hardware and software problems.
Assist in maintaining supplier relationships and IT-supply buying catalogs and make changes as needed.
Provide data analysis support by running system reports to use and analyze data cost, impact, risks, and benefits to inform and recommend business solutions.
Assist with the management of IT equipment leasing programs and coordinate lease contract cycles with Accounts Payable and IT-Finance.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
Technical background and understanding of technical specifications of hardware and software.
Ariba or SAP experience preferred, but not required.

Strong written and verbal communication skills
Excellentinterpersonal skills
Ability to meet deadlines
Demonstrated ability to learn and think critically
Strong knowledge of Microsoft OfficeSuite
