About the job


The PVH Archives Fellow will be responsible for a variety of archive functions including but not limited to: tracking loans, installing and de-installing exhibitions, writing internal and external communications, researching the history of our brands, leading tours, hosting research appointments, and processing acquisitions and deaccessions. Candidate must have great attention to detail, be very organized, self-motivated, and be able to multi task in a constantly changing work environment. Candidates should have a can do attitude, positive communication skills, and a great work ethic.

Qualifications:
Must be in final year of a graduate level fashion/textile history program or an art history, library science, or museum studies degree with a focus in fashion history. Recent graduates (up to one year post graduate school) are also invited to apply.
Must have an interest in current fashion industry as well as a demonstrated interest in fashion history.
Experience working with exhibitions and/or DAM systems
Experience working in a corporate environment, at least 1 year in an office setting
Experience handling fashion and textile objects in a museum, library, or archive setting

Schedule and Compensation:
3 days/ week starting September 9, 2019 and ending August 28, 2020
9am-5pm with some exceptions for events
