Position Description
Position Description and Key Responsibilities:
\nReporting into the Senior Product Designer Tommy Sport, this role will be responsible for the design of Womens Tommy Sport. This role will have 1 shared report.
\nKey Responsibilities:
\n\nImplement the seasonal Direction of the Category according to market trends as well as overall Design Direction and ensure consistency though products and ranges across Mens
\nConceptualize and design ranges in the specific Category and manage the creation process of the line range.
\nManage, set goals, monitor progress, offer help and critique work for the Design team. where applicable.
\nSteer and coach team members and their creative processes and drive development of direct reports, where applicable
\nEnsure the correct execution of Corporate Identity guidelines and against legal restrictions within the team
\nCreate professional level presentations of ideas; from loose sketch to detailed renderings to digital presentation
\nEnsure an efficient process and communication flow between design, merchandising and development (within x- functional team) for all issues regarding the products designed by the team
\nEnsure proper handover of product design to the product development department and development sources. Main duty is to submit all relevant information needed for the development process such as original design, colour indication, execution information, and design parts sizes
\nWork directly with suppliers and buying offices to ensure clarity of product development and through to final samples, in collaboration with in-house product development team

\nKnowledge and use of Adobe Creative Suite a must

\nGood organizational and time management skills
\nFluent in English (spoken and written)
\n\nRequisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:
\n\nBachelor degree (B.A.) from college or university in design or equivalent combination of education and experience
\n3+ years experience in a similar role
