The Director of Consumer Database Management is part of the Calvin Klein CRM team at PVH and will play an outsized role in helping the company achieve its objective of transforming into a consumer centric organization: showing up where, how and when the customer expects. As part of this initiative, the organization is building out a robust and flexible data platform to support end to end business needs allowing for a 360 view of the customer, personalized, real-time, multi-marketing channel communications, and advanced segmentation and analytics.

This position reports to the Senior Director of CRM and will represent the business in interfacing with internal IT and external vendor/implementation teams to provide strategy, design, use cases, business requirements as well as support QA and UAT. The ideal candidate will have experience on the CRM/business side, but their passion lies on setting up the infrastructure, tech, process and governance required to facilitate said vision. Meaningful experience in setting up ESPs and CDPs a must.


Develop comprehensive understanding from a strategy, tech stack and execution perspective, marketing/CRMs current state process, pain points, and future state vision
Work closely and collaboratively with IT in order to not only provide clear and comprehensive business requirements for all CRM tech implementations, but also serve as their day-to-day resource and partner in CRM
Support IT team in building mapping of current state capabilities to be replicated for parity
Participate in discovery/requirements sessions, validating BRDs, user stories, etc.
Define and prioritize use cases for activation
Support data model design, ensuring proper configurations & data sources are prioritized
Work with QA lead on test strategy, provide feedback on test cases and test plans
Work with IT to develop UAT strategy and plan, create UAT test cases, execute UAT test cases & provide results
Provide support to technical team during implementation heavy lift, as needed
Work with IT to create training plan that meets business needs, identify business users to participate in training sessions, active participation in training sessions
Plan all cut-over activities with IT and vendors, perform assigned tasks during cut-over process & verify systems
Help the business drive activation of quick win use cases

Experience: 8-10 years of solid consumer database management experience, including but not limited to standing up an ESP/CDP

Education: Bachelors Degree or higher


Must have previous experience in standing up an ESP/CDP and has worked on the business side of such transformations
High proficiency in SQL, Python or R
In-depth knowledge of how relational database structures and back end data architecture can impact front-end, business capabilities and processes
Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to ensure all information threads are brought together
Meticulous attention to detail
Natural ability to capture all essential information and direction, as well ask the right questions to ensure complete understanding of the task at hand
