The IT Project Manager is a dynamic, self-motivated individual with experience and skills in IT project management, software applications development & support; with excellent facilitation, influencing, and communication skills. This position will be responsible for the overall technical implementation of PVH Asias point-of-sale and customer engagement implementation; working with corresponding business departments of PVH Asia, managing internal IT resources and external IT vendors.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES OF THE JOB:
Support the performance of defining project scope and requirements (i.e., business analysis)
Work with internal staff to develop and plan projects and project work orders
Coordinates resources to effectively ensure successful execution of the project plan and deliver a quality project
Determine general resource allocation for their assigned areas
Develop and maintain project documentation such as project plans, issues lists, project status reports, resource plans
Maintain and be compliance to internal PMO processes (e.g. using internal project tracking system, publish regular project reports in predefined format) for each assigned project within this program
Develop and maintain documentation as specified for each assign project
Manages all IT workstream teams (design, build, test) and assures quality of deliverables, within the specified time
Manage issues and risks actively; escalating and driving for resolution
Agile decision maker who can play a key role in gauging cross-function issues, lack of alignment, and program risk and has the skills to drive decisions to closure in a positive and collaborative way.
Make decisions on how to deliver the program in partnership with core project leads and executive committee leaders.
Demonstrates strong verbal communication and presentation to all levels of the organization
Ability to influence stakeholders with stakeholder management skills
Experienced facilitation and mediation skills
Exceptional planning and organizational skills with ability to clearly communicate issues to a wide audience.
Excellent communication, problem solving and customer service skills are essential.
The ability to express complex, technical concepts effectively, both verbally and in writing.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
The ability to work well with people from many different disciplines and with varying degrees of IT experience.
Provides forecasting requirements, scheduling expenditures, analyzing variances
Prepare an annual budget;
Actively track project budget consumption and manage the project to be within budget; escalate and submit for project approval in case of project CR
Maintenance and Support Duties
Responsible for managing the HyperCare and post go-live support activities
Manages a team to support and maintain retail POS system
The ability to manage multiple priorities to maintain a balance between day to day operations, projects and strategic development.
Manages team of associates, and career growth within the company
Provides coaching or mentoring to individual associates and group
Must be able to work in a multinational environment
Must be able to work in a fast paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously within tight deadlines
Flexible hours outside of normal working hours are required to attend and manage meetings with corporate project team members or vendors
Travel within Asia will be required
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
At least 10 years of experience with managing complex retail application teams and projects
At least 5 years POS implementation experience
At least 5 years of managing Global / Regional IT projects with proven track records as a PM in managing large-scale and end-to-end projects, preferable in similar working environment
Experience in direct supervising or managing a team of developers
Familiar with retail domain knowledge, retail environment and POS systems, Oracle Micros experience is a plus
Experience with new retail, OmniChannel or unified commerce and shows relevant domain knowledge
Experience with CRM and eCommerce is a plus
Familiar or involved in PMO process or training, for example, PMP or Scrum certification is a plus
Proficiency in using MS project or other project management tools
BA or BS in relevant field or equivalent prior work experience and training
PMP or equivalent training
