POSITION SUMMARY:
The Manager, Consumer Insights is responsible for the development of consumer insights across Calvin Klein globally and PVH brands within North America. While being an individual contributor, this leader will also oversee the development of five key capabilities; product testing, content testing, global brand health, consumer panels and ad-hoc research initiatives. To be successful in this role, you will need to possess strong intellectual curiosity, be comfortable devising creative solutions to complex challenges, and demonstrate ability to conduct rigorous analyses that develop actionable recommendations. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES OF THE JOB:
Be the global expert on methodologies supporting all consumer research requests; educate team members to gain internal confidence and spread best practices.
Oversee the execution of consumer research, making sure deadlines are met and placing a premium on action-ability.
Launch new processes / resources that support a more nimble, globally-oriented consumer research capability.
Build repeatable processes that can be executed by yourself or others
Lead innovative approaches to gathering consumer feedback globally, empower team members to also innovate and explore new methodologies.
Communicate findings by documenting a way to visualize the insight and / or through verbal communication.
Lead the team, encouraging growth, experimentation and thought-leadership from every member.


QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

Experience:
4-7 years prior work experience within Consumer Insights or Market Research; past experience in retail a plus
Experience managing a talented team

Education:
Bachelors Degree in Marketing Research, Management Consulting, Marketing, Statistics, Business, Mathematics, Economics or related field

Skills:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to discuss complex information in an easy-to-understand manner with clear recommendations based on data
Ability to influence and partner effectively within a complex organization
Easily adaptable to changing situations and demonstrates flexibility in juggling priorities
Strong analytical abilities, demonstrated critical thinking skills
Self-motivated and resourceful, positive and solution-oriented
Understanding of business financials, ROI and profitability
Team player; ability to work effectively with different stakeholders and team members in a proactive manner
Ability to work across locations via creative methods
Strong presentations skills including ability to present to Senior Leadership
