Job Description

The Manager, Social Advocacy position within the CALVIN KLEIN Consumer Marketing Organization (CMO) Group will play an integral role in the planning and executing of the brands social advocacy engagement initiatives for the Underwear and Performance business lines and community groups.


Strategic Development:
Assist in the strategic development and on-going optimization of advocacy campaign/engagement programs across assigned CALVIN KLEIN business lines/communities inclusive of best practices, guidelines and performance benchmarking
Advocate relationship management: key point person responsible for the identification and recruitment of advocates by assigned community based on program objectives; key contact responsible for communication and facilitation of all assigned program initiatives
Development and ongoing management of program content and communication strategy, partnering cross-functionally with our in-house creative teams to facilitate production

Channel Management:
Assist the development and ongoing management of program content and communication strategy (partnering cross-functionally with creative, product marketing, PR and CMI teams) to support yearly CMO objectives by business line/campaign
Facilitation of review/feedback on all evergreen and activation strategies with Director, Brand Advocacy and Social Media Marketing as well as cross-functional groups and leadership teams as defined by the department workflow
Lead all performance tracking and reporting for assigned business lines/communities, including (but not limited to) monthly, campaign and ad-hoc reports, in addition to socialization across cross-functional and leadership teams
Partner cross functionally with the Marketing, PR, E-Comm, Fashion Office, Creative and Production teams to plan, communicate and adjust digital and social advocacy tactics

Channel Strategy:
Strategic lead in the development and ongoing optimization of advocate engagement tactics by channel including day to day management of digital channels established for direct communication with advocate communities
Assist Director, Social Advocacy on the ongoing communication and amplification of advocate programming on CALVIN KLEIN global social channels
Collaborate on paid social initiatives in partnership with media team and agency

Plan and oversee designated budget allocation in alignment with global social strategy and owned channel needs
Review and oversee management of the department budgeting, including invoice processing and actualizations


3-5 years of strategic social and/or consumer marketing and community management experience; in house or at an agency. Fashion, beauty and lifestyle experience preferred.

Education: Bachelors Degree Required

Passionate for the dynamic, changing nature of social media marketing
Curiosity and interest in innovation fueled by consumer insight and an understanding of key business drivers
Strong ability to collaborate and influence others in a highly matrixed environment
Confident communication of ideas to senior executive and owner audiences
Significant experience leading digital content leaders and teams including writers, video producers, social media teams, creative agencies, and other digital content creators
Experience running department operations, including strategy, talent, and budgets
