The Tommy Hilfiger Internship Program offers bright, motivated individuals the opportunity to receive mentorship, supervision, and training. In addition to gaining hands-on experience in their department, Interns will attend various cross-functional presentations, learning sessions with Senior Leadership and have the opportunity to work with Interns across the PVH brands on community outreach.
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Entertainment Public Relations team at Tommy Hilfiger is searching for an Intern who is bursting with creative ideas! The ideal candidate is someone who would be able to comfortablywork in a fast paced environment, is eager to learn and contribute, and stays abreast of industry trends. The Entertainment Public Relations Intern would provide support to the EPR team in office and during various events throughout the semester.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES OF THE JOB:
Managing and organizing samples in press showroom and closets
Track/Manage EPR/Editorial samples in Fashion GPS
Support with VIP wardrobe requests/pulls/send outs and returns
Send out/check in product for internal and VIP requests
Prep/breakdown for VIP showroom fittings and meetings
Scan celebrity/product placements and assist in creating recaps, presentations and media lists
Research and create celebrity one sheets and track social media
Support the EPR team for brand events/fashion shows
Assist with celebrity gifting

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Powerpoint, Excel) and Keynote
Experience with Fashion GPS is a plus
Organizational skills are a must
Strong PR skills (positive outlook, social grace, confidence, and compassion)
Knowledge of US and LatAm celebrities/talent

*Please note that applicants must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program during the Fall 2019 semester. School credit is offered but not required. A candidate's application acknowledges that they will be available to intern a minimum of three full days per week throughout the duration of the program, which lasts from September 9 through December 6 (with Thanksgiving week off).
