What does your team do:
Partnering with the Global Designer Director you will be responsible for building the Tommy Hilfiger Accessories product group and design strategy.
\nCreating Tommy Hilfiger Accessories line that is relevant and commercially successful with a clear understanding of TH brand identity and vision and to meet various European and International market needs. The role will be working within the mens accessories design team, and working closely with product development and merchandising in creating the collection.

Position Description and Key Responsibilities:
Reporting into the Senior Designer you will collaborate with all team members as well as merchandisers and product developers on concepting and developing Accessories product with a focus on 3D and Hardwear.
\n
\n\n3D Design of hardware for all accessories product categories under the direction of the Senior Designers and Global Design Director.
\nResearching trends and taking inspiration from this to produce creative and innovative shapes, details and finishings, especially for accessories hardwear.
\nWork closely with the Global Design Director on planning the range within the brief from the Merchandising team to make best use of factory/fabric resource and offer commercially viable but exciting and interesting product.
\nWorking alongside the design team, research for accessories in terms of image/mood/seasonal direction to present to the Global Design Director
\nAlign the accessories collection with other product categories in the company
\nFull understanding of technical design and construction, to support technical specifications for the vendors
\nBeing flexible and able to work on multiple season at once.
\nResearch on latest technologies and innovations.
\nWork on fabric/trim development and research with the Global Design Director and PD team
\nIllustrator CADs of belts, bags and small leather goods.
\nWork closely with the PD team, overseeing proto review process and passing comments on all product, colours and materials
\nGenerating boards of apparel prints and colours each season and keeping these up to date
\nGenerating digital Design overviews of bags, belts and small leather goods and keep them updated at all times.
\nDevelop strong cross divisional relations via regular communication and update meetings
\nSupport the Product Development team in the briefing of designs to the vendor base (travel may be involved) to facilitate successful development of prototype samples so not to compromise on design and function
\nAssisting design team with design modifications after each development stage
\nPreparing digital and hard copies of seasonal colour cards
\nOrganizing design materials archive
\nCompiling handbag sample archive and logging new brought samples
\nSupporting the design teams with presentation preparations
\nEnsure all the technical specs are saved on PLM before deadlines
\nProviding necessary information on any style or colour related changes through updated design overview sheets
\nAssisting Senior designers with saving all the technical specs on the shared drive.

What we expect you to have:
All applicants must apply with a relevant and up to date colour, concept and trend portfolio
\n\nFashion design degree, ideally in accessories design
\nMinimum of 1- 2 years of accessories design work experience
\nExpertise on Photoshop, Illustrator, Matrix and Rhino
\nFluent in English, excellent communication written and verbally
\nAble to provide product direction and make product decision
\nAble and flexible to travel overseas and work in multi-cultural environment
\nIn depth knowledge of colour, concept, materials and trends specifically tailored to the accessories markets
\nAbility to work in creative environment, to handle pressure, to work on multiple tasks under tight deadlines yet able to provide high quality work result
\nStrong hand sketching skills with understanding of scale and perspective
\nTeam player, yet able to work independently when needed
\nEmbrace the hands on, active, problem solving, open minded, dynamic, fun and fast pace environment
\nFlexible to travel
\nNot a 9 to 5 mentality, especially at peak design time
\nFluent in English, excellent communication written and verbal
