Department Description
Within the Tommy Hilfiger Supply Chain, the Tommy Jeans Sourcing& Production department is working closely with the Design and Merchandise team, to develop the best product for the best price possible.Tommy Jeans has been one of the fastest growing apparel divisions. We have a strong focus and rive to make the collection more sustainable, using more sustainable materials and production processes.

Project Description
The Sourcing & Production intern supports the Product Development team with a strong focus on the woven area and will get the opportunity to experience all the different stages of a development process.Owning your projects, your main responsibilities are:
\n\nCreating a Fabric library and actively help source more sustainable materials
\n\n\nMaintain and help communicate certification internally
\n\n
\nBesides the project you will lead, this will be a supporting role in day to day line management, maintaining Development tools and systems, preparing for global milestone meetings,as well as several seasonal during and pre-production activities.
\n
\nKeyTasks:
\n\nSupport theProduct developmentteams with preparation of presentations and key meetings such asSketchreviews,Protomeetings andPricing meetings;
\nAssist with samples coordination and management;
\nAssisting in administrative and organizational tasks such as chasing and completing sample collections
\nAssist withfitting session with the technical department
\n\n
\nLearning Objectives:
\n
\n\nGain insight and understanding of all aspects of a fullDevelopmentprocess as well as a collection development cycle, fromallocationreviews to the finalpre-productionapprovals.
\nIn-depth knowledge of thedevelopmentprocess while working together with design,merchandising and buyingteams;
\nGain an understanding of a collection build up that meets the needs of the market, based on historical numbers, trend-forecasting and sales feedback.

Requirements:
\nIt is mandatory that you are still enrolled in a university or school program at the start date of the internship. Please note this is not a thesis-oriented internship but more to gain experience in a global work environment.
\nThe candidate must be eligible to work in the EU
\nStart date: February 2020;Duration: 6 months
