Department Information
The Facility department of PVH Europe B.V. consists of 32 people divided over 6 teams: Back Office, Service Team, Project Team, Logistics, Front Desk/Reception and Security.

The department goal is to provide a high standard, excellent quality Facilities service to the whole organization of PVH Europe BV in Amsterdam. Most teams are in-house teams, with the security and cleaning services being partially outsourced.

The Facility Department is responsible for over 42.000 m2 Amsterdam based offices, warehouses, photo studios and showrooms in terms of real estate, maintenance, security, cleaning, relocations, workplace development, internal logistics etc.
For all internal construction works, workplace development, logistics internal project managers are assigned.

Position Description
This is an exciting opportunity for a strong Facilities leader, who knows how to lead and elevate the back-office services of a state of the art campus that is housing over 2.000 people.

As Senior Facility Manager, you will manage the Back Office team (9 persons spread over 2 different locations in Amsterdam).

The Back Office team is responsible for running the service desk (Topdesk FMIS), performing overall maintenance and cleaning of all buildings in Amsterdam. The core responsibility of the Senior Facility Manager is to manage all facility processes and activities of the Back Office.

With your excellent knowledge of best standards, the latest innovations and facility processes, you will give a clear direction to the team. You will drive their engagement, lead them to the next level in Facilities and you will be supporting them with their personal development.

\nThe core focus for the Senior Facility Manager will be to create more efficiency and effectiveness in all work processes and contracts of the department. You will make suggestions for improving the primary processes and the overall quality level of our services and optimize the level of corporation between the back office, project team, service team, cleaning, mailroom, reception and security.

In this position, you will report directly into and will be a sparring partner for the Senior Director Facilities.
\nResponsibilities
\n
The responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
\n\nManage Service desk;
\nMonitoring and coordinate different services (Waste, Maintenance, Office Supplies etc.);
\nSet up and manage maintenance plans of all office buildings;
\nConduct contract and supplier management by negotiating more efficient contracts and prizing i.e. waste, maintenance, office supplies etc. in corporation with the Procurement Department PVH;
\nProject management: (renovation plans, moves, tenders etc.). In these projects the Senior Facility Manager will work closely together with the Facilities Project Managers and the Procurement Department;
\nOwn, maintain, analyze the overall Call administration - FMIS Topdesk and manage the complete database in Topdesk (calls/persons/locations/contracts etc.);
\nShare knowledge and best practice within the facilities team.

Position Requirements
\nA minimum of 7-10 years work experience in a similar function and managing + developing a team;
\nA Bachelor degree in Facility Management / Hotel Management is a plus;
\nProven track record in managing, optimizing and controlling the supportive processes in a back-office environment;
\nBe innovative (know the facilities market developments);
\nHighly service oriented with a strong eye for detail;
\nHands on mentality get things done;
\nGood interpersonal and communicative skills. Able to communicate effectively on all levels in the English language (oral and written). Dutch language is a plus.
