Department Description
The Controlling Division is part of the Finance Department and supports the organization in reaching their targets. We are actively involved in setting up budgets, long term targets and reforecasting with all involved parties. We are reporting on the current performance against these plans and indicate the impact on the future performance. The company is structured in a matrix organization which we mirrored in the controlling team.
\nOur teams are structured around our customers: the markets, the retail and ecommerce team, the divisions and the departments. The controlling team is using a wide range of tools to support these analysis, forecasts and strategic activities.
\n\nThe general PVH Controlling objectives can be explained as follows:
\nServe as the bridge between the Business and Finance; supporting the Business to translate strategies into financial plans
\nSupport the organization to achieve its targets
\nControlling team mirrors the organizational setup. Stakeholder focus: departments; divisions and markets
\nControlling is responsible for understanding the past, current and future numbers
\nBeing a true business partner to the senior management and the business.
\nResponsibility and ownership of reported numbers to make the closure and reporting a smooth process
\n\n

Project Description
You will support in enhancing the reporting structure of the divisions & departments team. Your main responsibilities will be as follows:
\n\nSupport the business controllers in enhancing the reports like various SAP BW, Embedded BPC
\nYou will be trained on these tools and will be able to gain very good understanding of how the reporting structure works
\nUnderstand the business in order to be able to also challenge the reports and be critic (if needed etc.)
\nEmbedded BPC (system upgrade) would be implemented for the central overheads. You will also be supporting in the implementation of the system.
\nOpex dashboard is available and needs to be further enhanced.
\n\n
\nYou will be supporting the reporting structure of the financial planning team and will be offered lot of exposure in the financial planning world!

Requirements
\nIt is mandatory that you are still enrolled in a university or school program at the start date of the internship. Please note this is not a thesis-oriented internship but more to gain experience in a global work environment.
\nThe candidate must be eligible to work in the EU
\nStart date: February 2020; Duration: 6 months
