The Outlet department works with both Tommy Hilfiger and Calvin Klein. The team is responsible for planning, buying, merchandising, distribution and visual merchandising for Outlets throughout Europe working closely with the country teams.
\n

Project Description
The Outlet Intern will be focus on is how to optimize the supply chain for Outlet with the focus on Premium stores. Premium Outlet Stores are our most important stores and we are exploring how we can increase their profitability by optimizing their supply process.
\nYou will get the unique opportunity to get a full understanding of the Product Lifecycle, working with the Merchandising, Production & Operations teams. You will not only get a clear insight on how to build a collection from the initial thought process and analysis, but also get insight to the production process including the negotiation with vendors and the product development. In addition, you will gain understanding of the supply chain process from our vendors, through our central warehouse to the stores.
\nTo achieve this, you will assist the Merchandising, Production & Operations Team in their job responsibilities, such as:
\n\nMerchandising Reports Collaborating with the Assistant Merchandiser to update the key Merchandise Business report, for the team to use the business every week.
\nSample management ordering and managing seasonal samples and Sample room for the outlet collection.
\nSeasonal Analysis to prepare for Hindsight meetings.
\nParticipate in building the monthly communication file, detailing key information for the Store & Market teams.
\nDelivery reports Reviewing the inbound status of the goods in the warehouse.
\nPurchase Order Entry Goods movement from vendor to warehouse.
\nOrder Entry Shipping goods from the warehouse to the stores.
\nData Administration.
\n\nRequirements
\n\nIt is mandatory that you are still enrolled in a university or school program at the start-date of the internship. Please note this is not a thesis-oriented internship but more to gain experience in a global work environment.
\nYou must be eligible to work in the EU.
\nStart date: February 2020
\nDuration: 6 months
