Department Description
The department has a family atmosphere as it is one of the smallest in TH. We are one of the fastest growing departments so there is a lot of expectation on our team to make existing product and deliver on time. This internship enables a full understanding of product lifecycle and adherence to following a critical path. You will be familiar with all members of our team, and due to fast pace of 360 and tight timelines, we need you to be approachable for ad-hoc tasks and learn fast.
\nYou will earn great insight into the development process and have contact with the design team and PD team every day.

Project Description
You will be an invaluable part of the team, with focus on support to the product developer for TH Mens, Tommy Jeans and Tommy Sports Accessories. Note that this role is admin based, not design based.
\nBased on the interns aptitude, they will have the chance to manage a project - anything from researching and developing packaging, to new techniques of leather and trims.
\nSome examples for projects are:
\n\nDeveloping Tommy Jeans packaging for our new collections - from concept/research to sample and finally production
\nEstablishing a material archive to suit multiple disciplines - a concept to archiving strategy and aesthetic organization
\n\n
\nThe project you will work on will be decided after assessing your skills set. Besides, your daily tasks will be:
\n\nMaintain and organize samples: inbound, outbound, planning, tracking
\nCoordinate the wear trials and prepare the report, manage sample requests from other department and send samples to warehouse
\nTrack and trace down parcels that are send to the attention of the Design/ PD team
\nSend out parcels for design and PD (TH only), buying office and direct vendors, as well as follow up with invoice, images and tracking details.
\nOrganize seasonal material folders, lab dips and strike offs. Ensure these are signed, dated and filed in a timely manner
\nTo maintain and update the lab dip chart and track the inbound lab dips

\nPut together the seasonal color palette
\n\nRequirements:
\n\nIt is mandatory that the candidate is still enrolled in a university or school program, please note this is not a thesis-oriented internship but more to gain experience in a global work environment
\nThe candidate must be eligible to work in the EU
\nStart date: February 2020
\nDuration: 6 months
