You will work in the Core Services team, whichbuilds and maintains a set of microservices, each of which exposes an API for retail and wholesale applications used in the EMEA+ region.
Core Services exposes data from back-end systems like SAP and Informatica (PIM), using technologies such as .NET Core, Kafka,GraphQL, Mesosphere DC/OS, NoSQL databases, Docker etc. to build a scalable and high-preforming architecture.
Position Description
As a Development intern, you will be assigned to the project of creating a microservice to automate the availability of image sets for the company'swebshop.You will: Learn the current process for making image sets available Interact with business teams to understand their needs and identify gains and opportunities Work with the Core Services team to design an optimal solution Develop a microservice to remove manual steps from the existing process Collaborate with the business teams to have the revised process tested and signed off Implement in production the improved process
Position Requirements
It is mandatory that you are still enrolled ina Computer Science/Information Technology (or similar)university or school program at the start date of the internship. Please note this is not a thesis-oriented internship but more to gain experience in a global work environment.
