POSITION SUMMARY:

The VP of Sales is responsible for driving continued wholesale channel growth through mainline and mass channels for the Warners brand (PVH-owned Intimates brand). The VP will lead and develop a team of 5 and will be responsible for setting short and long term strategic goals and develop wholesale account relationships.

The successful leader will partner closely with internal partners (Merchandising, Design, Planning, Operations, Marketing, Consumer Insights, Shopper Experience, Ecommerce, Finance, etc.) to bring to life selling strategies and deliver commercial results while maintaining brand standards.

The VP will lead an effective team to consistently deliver net sales, meet budgetary objectives and profit expectations.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES OF THE JOB:

The VP will define and deliver world class wholesale-channel sales solutions, and define and execute the sales department go-to-market strategies that align with product launch efforts to achieve business objectives.
Identify opportunities for top line growth and market share gain based on a deep understanding of the Warners consumer.
Lead the training and development of sales team, including delivering on guidance and clear direction, problem solving and people management.
Create and maximize brand specific growth strategies and channel sales that align the brand with the Warners consumer.
Drive the achievement of creative goals and strategic solutions to meet and exceed sales objectives.
Analyze retail and competitive performance to develop focused action plans by channel; Identify changing business trends to maintain highest level of competitive advantage.
Continuously develop knowledge regarding trends, innovation in the creative field, customer experiences and technology.
Partner with Planning, Merchandising, Design, Marketing, Sourcing, Finance and Retail Development to ensure that all strategies are maximized in order to deliver sales, profit and margin goals.
Maintain top levels of awareness on Underwear/ Intimates Industry trends and evolutions in the wholesale and retail sales landscapes.
Manage financial budgets across all areas of responsibility.
Determine and maintain the budgets for sales, dilution, advertising, events, staffing and travel.
Instill a team culture that upholds PVH values and vision and actively foster a positive working environment for the team.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

Experience:
15+ years of experience in wholesale/ retail sales with mid-tier department stores and mass channels.
Experience working with the Kohls account is required; Experience working with Walmart and Target accounts is a plus.
10+ years of successful experience leading teams.
Knowledge ofIntimate Apparel market is a plus.
Prior experience leading sales in wholesale at a high growth organization.
Experience working with C-Level executives to drive innovation and change.

Education: Bachelors degree required, MBA preferred.

Strong influencingand relationship building skills, expert at developing relationships at all levels of the organization internally and externally, I.e. with wholesale accounts.
Ability to travel approx. once a month to dept store account locations in NA.
