The Design Assistant, Licensed Product and Accessories will be responsible for supporting the design team with everyday style and system maintenance. This role will have a dual reporting structure into the Design Manager, Licensing and the Design Manager, Accessories.

Responsibilities:
Assist design teams in all aspects of design process
Maintain all style, color and art updates
Review and comment on fabric, trim, and art submits
Write and distribute design recaps after every step of design process and distribute to licensees and licensee ops
Sample and inspirational artwork organization and maintenance
Create and maintain fabric and trim development binders
Ordering of seasonal color palettes, assembly, and distribution to cross-functional teams.
Contribute to seasonal design presentation and set up

Qualifications:
College degree; degree in Fashion Design or Product Development, a plus
1+ years of experience; related internship experience, applicable

Highly competent in Adobe Illustrator
Competent in Adobe InDesign
Competent in Adobe Photoshop, ISIS, Web PDM or similar, Excel, and Word
Experience in CAD, preferred
Strong communication skills
Extremely detail-oriented
Ability to function in a fast paced environment
Keep up with current trends; research silhouettes and fabrics
Ability to work in fluid environment with changing priorities required
