POSITION SUMMARY:

The Designer, Packaging & Special Projects is responsible for the on-brand execution of primarily packaging as well as graphic brand assets that spark inspiration and engagement with worldwide audiences.

This collaborative team member will deliver world class packaging and visual content for digital and retail experiences, spanning but not limited to package design and the roll out of mechanical deliveries.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES OF THE JOB:
Execute the creative vision and design aesthetic for branded content across packaging touchpoints and other channels guided by Global Creative leadership
Develop hangtags, packaging and other print collateral from initial concept to final physical execution
Be a positive force in moving projects forward while working across multiple timelines
Act as design liaison between cross-functional teams as needed
Maintain brand continuity across all projects and platforms
Bring inventive and on-brand photography concepts to life across packaging executions
Help build out sustainability-first packaging concepts informed by consumer insights and seasonal campaign themes
Continuously develop knowledge regarding new design trends, innovation, sustainability, customer experiences, materials and technology
Be informed in pop culture and design trends, acting as a critical support partner to art directors and the overall creative team
Be a team player by maintaining an organized workflow and sharing projects seamlessly with other creative team members.
Strive for elevated and on-brand packaging concepts while adhering to tactical and cost constraints of a project

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
Experience:
Minimum 2 years professional experience with design agency or studio experience
Specialization in packaging design is a plus.

Education: Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Illustration, Communications or related concentration preferred.

Skills:
Mastery of Adobe Photoshop, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Illustrator
Excellent compositional and typographical skills
Must be highly organized and detail oriented
Strong in communicating ideas with teams
Self-motivated and capable of working collaboratively across multiple teams
Ability to work on multiple projects in a fast paced environment
