Department Information
The Procurement department functions as an internal consultant for the rest of the organization. The departments objective is to provide detailed information on the operational spend and identify where savings can be made. The team researches the market for new vendors that can deliver valuable services/goods to PVH and executes tenders to make sure PVH gets the right product for the right price delivered at the right time. Using extensive processes of contract management and vendor management ensures that PVHs vendors keep performing their best for the organization. The Procurement department has strong collaboration with every aspect of the business and advises on new possibilities.
\nThere is a strong focus on ensuring vendors help implement our sustainability targets. It is an exciting time for Procurement in PVH as in 2020 we launch our Procurement policy which will impact how the business manages indirect spend; In addition, we will also launch a P2P system. Two major milestones for Procurement!

Position Description
The Procurement Intern will report into the Procurement Director and will drive and run an internal research project on how Procurement services are received, and how the department is perceived within the organization. The end goal is to obtain insights from all departments and divisions regarding their mindset, experience and expectation when dealing with the Procurement Department. The project will include the following responsibilities:
\n\ninterviewing stakeholders, Procurement colleagues and external partners
\nmapping opportunities & challenges (SWOT analysis)
\ncreating an image map (current situation vs ideal situation)
\ncreating image GAP analyses
\nAnalysis of successful implementation
\nset-up communication (best practices) plan
\nextensive collaboration implementation plan accompanied by a detailed growth roadmap.
\n\nThe key deliverables of the project are to enable the Procurement department to service PVH departments in a better, faster and more constructive way and to help the department grow successfully within the organization.
\nRequirements:
\n\nIt is mandatory that you are still enrolled in a university or school program at the start date of the internship. Please note this is not a thesis-oriented internship but more to gain experience in a global work environment.
