Project Description
We are looking for a Data Science Intern to further develop our analytical capabilities and impact on the business. During this internship, you will acquire practical HR knowledge and learn different data structures. You will alsohave the opportunity toapply theoretical knowledge utilizing real-life cases.
\nIn this role, you should be highly analytical with a knack for analysis, math, and statistics. Critical thinking and problem-solving skills are essential for interpreting data.
\nThroughout the internship, you will focus on at least one major business challenge. To do this you will need to:
\n\nImplement data models and algorithms that support analyzing HR-related business problems
\nAnalyze large amounts of information to discover trends and patterns
\nUndertake preprocessing of structured and unstructured data
\nResearch and develop statistical learning models for data analysis
\nBuild predictive models and machine-learning algorithms
\nPresent information using data visualization techniques
\nPropose solutions and strategies to business challenges
\nCollaborate closely with HR Team members to develop ideas end to end, from data collection, to follow-up action implementation, to measuring of success

Your Profile
\nYou possess the ability to translate data and insights into clear and actionable recommendations
\nYou have experience in data mining
\nYou have experience in R, Python, or other statistical computing packages
\nYou have strong math skills (e.g. statistics, algebra)
\nYou are highly organized with the ability to plan according to priority and have a problem-solving aptitude
\nPrevious internships, personal projects, work experience, and hackathons are a plus!
\nYou are willing to learn and push your boundaries!
\n\nOur Internship Terms
\n\nYou must be still enrolled in a university or school program at the start date of the internship
\nYou must be eligible to work in the EU
\nYou can start in February 2020 with a duration of 6 months
