POSITION SUMMARY:
Beginning in December, this position will be reporting to the VP of Global Strategy, the Senior Director is responsible for supporting in the development and implementation of strategic initiatives that drive long term sales & profit growth for the brand across all regions. This is a 6 month temporary assignment.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES OF THE JOB:
Support global leaders to identify and uncover strategic opportunities in all areas of business including brand, product, marketing & distribution as well as financial and operational initiatives
Support the team in prioritizing strategic initiatives by developing financial model and business case
Carry-out strategic and financial analysis to solve business questions. Develop recommendation and roadmap to execution
Deliver business and market insights to support decision-making
Support the team in driving the global strategic planning process
Support global leads through the implementation of strategic initiatives
Support in the development of strategic communications and executive presentations for CEO & leadership team
Foster the development of team members through sharing of knowledge and best practices
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
Experience & Skills:
7+ years experience working in a strategy role, preferably in the consumer / retail space, including 2-3 years in consulting, corporate finance or investment banking
Experience managing strategic projects from ideation to execution
Strong commercial awareness and understanding of the consumer
Strong analytical & problem solving skills. Ability to deal with new & complex topics, interpret data, spot trends, draw conclusions
Strong communication skills, both oral & written. Ability to synthesize information, present effectively, influence highest level of organization
Flexible & open to change. Adapts to new priorities & environment
Strong PowerPoint and Excel skills
Education:
University degree or college diploma in business or a related field
MBA preferred
