Department Description
The PVH Europe Legal Department is based in the PVH International headquarters in Amsterdam. The main activities relate to contracts, intellectual property, brand protection, corporate, compliance and employment matters, related to the Tommy Hilfiger and Calvin Klein businesses in the EMEA+ region. For brand protection the department acts as the first point of contact for Tommy Hilfiger worldwide and for Calvin Klein in Europe. Intellectual property matters relate to trademark infringements, trademark clearance and licensing and co-branding. The contractual work and corporate and compliance matters mostly relate to distribution, supply chain, real estate, IT, privacy, M&A, anti-trust, marketing, promotions and licensing.

Project Description
The Legal intern supports the PVH Legal team and will get the opportunity to experience all the different aspects of the legal process within a global fashion corporation. During your internship, the focus is on the optimal learning experience as well as excepting support to the Legal team.
\nA special divisional project during the internship period will be defined, based on your skills set and more detailed interests you have within the legal area. Besides your project, you will be involved in daily activities, such as:
\n\nRefresh our global law enforcement training materials: including rewriting our \"brand manual\" and presentation decks (obtaining translations in core languages); creating (in collaboration with an external agency) display materials for our trainings; and sourcing updated samples of both genuine and counterfeit products;
\nCreating a product identification handbook: liaising with the various Tommy Hilfiger divisions and licensees to obtain relevant information on designs, trims and packaging of our current and recent past collections;
\nWorking on our Knowledge Management by creating a stylebook for legal templates;
\nWorking on compliance for MEA+ and Travel Retail which means:
- Updating list of vendors for both departments
- Checking whether we have a contract or not, if yes checking the compliance wording and updating;
- Arranging for compliance certification if no contract in place.

Requirements
\nIt is mandatory that you are still enrolled in a university or school program at the start date of the internship. Please note this is not a thesis-oriented internship but more to gain experience in a global work environment.
