The Associate Site Merchandiser is responsible for ensuring a superior customer shopping experience as a result of executing the online merchandising and product information strategy for multiple categories of business. They are also responsible for achieving topside sales plans, conversion goals, usability performance targets and corporate objectives for their assigned area of responsibility. The objectives will be met by setting up compelling customer driven merchandise assortments, content setup and thorough validation. The position will be accountable for ensuring timely and accurate production of merchandise related content and assortments. The Associate Merchandiser will also be responsible for executing all editorial and special content setup for multiple categories of business. They will properly assort all items in appropriate web folders for optimal exposure and ensure timely live date. The will be responsible for delaying items that are not validated, and identify process and/or system inefficiencies on a regular basis.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES OF THE JOB:
Executes site merchandising and content strategies to drive sales, support the product buy and drive Brand message for assigned area of responsibility.
Interpret and react to site KPIs to achieve Sales Goals.
Measure and monitor effectiveness, and communicate how the content and product strategy is contributing to business goals
Assists with sample coordination for areas of business for photography studio & copy team-changed wording
Manages the Item set up in PIM to get product web ready for month roll outs
Analyze the business to drive sales through suggested promotions, merchandising, whats working, etc.
Monitor site for bugs and partner with cross functional teams to resolve site content and product related issues
Partners with DMM to communicate e-commerce needs for product
Shop competitors site to identify trends and opportunities
Participate in Adhoc analysis as necessary
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
Experience: 1- 3 years related work experience, preferably in merchandising, digital, or equivalent experience
Education: Bachelors Degree in Fashion Merchandising, Fashion Marketing or business administration.
Skills: Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel and Retail Math.
Strong planning, inventory management, and analytical skills.
Ecommerce experience preferred.
Must be able to handle multiple projects with adherence to deadlines.
Must be highly organized.
Must be able to work independently as well as on group projects.
Must be self-motivated and confident with some decision making.
