POSITION SUMMARY:The Supply Chain Specialist will be responsible for facilitating efficient and timely receipt of product into PVH warehouses. Monitor performance of third party consolidators and air forwarders with respect to correct and timely transmission of the advance ship notice (ASN). Create necessary ASNs for a specified number of suppliers. Identify and resolve ASN related issues.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES OF THE JOB:
Enter pertinent and critical information into various computer systems to create ASNs.
Follow up with distribution centers to ensure timely ASN receipt and permit efficient receiving of merchandise.
Analyze problems to determine the appropriate action then implement.
Escalate identified problems to the appropriate technical or management personnel.
Understand and use all appropriate computer systems to support ASN entry.
Communicate with import traffic, warehouse and merchandising departments as necessary to ensure facilitating the entire receipt receiving process.
Monitor and measure vendor compliance to PVH standard procedures. Issue reports and prepare non-compliance documentation.
Conduct chargeback research and validation to support the PVH compliance
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
Experience: Data entry a Plus, Retail Systems, Internet
Education: College degree is helpful, but not required
Skills: Good Organizational Skills, Interpersonal and Communication Skills required, Time Management Skills Essential, Good PC Skills, Detailed Oriented, Excellent follow up.
