The Tommy Hilfiger Internship Program offers bright, motivated individuals the opportunity to receive mentorship, supervision, and training. In addition to gaining hands-on experience in their department, Interns will attend various cross-functional presentations, learning sessions with Senior Leadership and have the opportunity to work with Interns across the PVH brands on community outreach.
POSITION SUMMARY: Technical Design Intern
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES OF THE JOB:
Assisting Technical Design Teams:Measure all Fit and PP samples
Prepare paperwork for fittings
Attend Fittings
Write fit comments where appropriate
Shadow Tech Designers to gain an understanding of Optitex computerized pattern making system
Work with the Tech team to keep sample closets organized. Organizing samples by season, boxing up out of season samples for distribution to charities or sample sale

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
Familiarity with the design and tech design process.
Experience measuring garments
Self-starting
Education:
Fashion education or comparable experience
Skills:
Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
Adobe Photoshop & Illustrator
*Please note that applicants must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program during the semester. School credit is offered but not required. A candidate's application acknowledges that they will be available to intern a minimum of three full days per week throughout the duration of the program, which lasts from June-August.
