The Research Analyst, Consumer Insights is responsible for development of consumer insights across Calvin Klein globally and PVH brands within North America, reporting to the Manager, Consumer Insights. As a collaborative team member, this associate will help deliver key consumer research initiatives to support the broader organization. Among others, these initiatives include consumer journey mapping, customer preference, brand health tracking as well as behavioral studies and shopalongs. To be successful in this role, you will need to possess strong intellectual curiosity, be comfortable devising creative solutions to complex challenges, and demonstrate ability to conduct rigorous analyses that develop actionable recommendations. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES OF THE JOB:
Partner with market research vendors and have a strong understanding of methodologies
Deliver actionable reporting from research initiatives to help identify opportunities for the business
Identify new resources and vendors that support more nimble consumer insights capabilities.
Partner with other team members within Consumer + Market Insights to deliver rich and robust insights in a timely manner
Build repeatable processes that can be executed by yourself or others
Communicate findings by documenting a way to visualize the insight and / or through verbal communication.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
1.5 to 3 years of prior work experience within market research; past experience in retail a plus; past experience with global research a plus
Bachelors Degree in Marketing Research, Psychology, Management Consulting, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics or related field
Strong understanding of diverse research methodologies and how they can be applied to generate value
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to discuss complex information in an easy-to-understand manner
Ability to partner effectively within a complex organization
Easily adaptable to changing situations and demonstrates flexibility in juggling priorities
Strong analytical abilities, demonstrated critical thinking skills
Self-motivated and resourceful, positive and solution-oriented
Understanding of business financials, ROI and profitability
Team player; ability to work effectively with different stakeholders and team members in a proactive manner
Strong presentations skills
