POSITION SUMMARY:
The SAP Functional Analyst will be a member of the Global Financial Systems team and make a positive contribution to the business and delivery teams. This position will bring subject matter expertise and be responsible for production support, root cause analysis and solution design around AP, AR, Banking, GL and Asset Accounting processes within the SAP S/4 system.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES OF THE JOB:
-Provide functional and technical support including configuration for the aforementioned SAP modules, supporting global requirements across all geographies.
-Engage the internal business customers to identify resolutions for issues raised
-Develop functional specification for custom ABAP development, and enlighten the development team of the business requirements.
-Support and maintain the SAP production environment by providing governance over the design and configuration of defects, solving end user problems and, answering module-related questions
-Responsible for unit, integrated & regression testing; including build test cases, perform tests and making changes to configuration or processes based on results while adhering to the agreed upon business requirements.
-Develop and administer user support documentation and provide training /coaching to end-users, guiding the business on the appropriate use of the SAP system.
-Work closely with non-SAP IT groups and outside Vendors that need to interface to SAP Financials.
-Work with other non-SAP systems used by the Finance business users should the need arise.
-This position may require some travel, both domestically and internationally based on project requirements.
-Performs break fix / Support the current SAP systems
-Support and maintain the SAP production environment.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
Experience:
-7-10 years overall IT / business analysis experience and 5+ years configuration experience with SAP Financials modules (FI/CO) is required
-Experience in New General Ledger/Controlling, including but not limited to multi-currency experience, currency revaluation & translation, document splitting, non-leading ledger, reconciliation ledger, profit center accounting, understanding of financial close and intercompany processing.
-Retail / Fashion industry experience is highly preferred.
-Understanding of Accounting rules and principles a must
-Full life cycle SAP Implementation with SAP S4/HANA is required
-Working knowledge of SAP Central Finance, UI5, and FIORI is preferred

Education:
Bachelors or equivalent educational qualification

-IT background in functional design, configuration and implementation of SAP Financial modules.
-Must have excellent partnership skills and must be able to work with a highly diverse workforce globally.
-Must possess excellent written/verbal communication and presentation skills.
