The Tommy Hilfiger Internship Program offers bright, motivated individuals the opportunity to receive mentorship, supervision, and training. In addition to gaining hands-on experience in their department, Interns will attend various cross-functional presentations, learning sessions with Senior Leadership and have the opportunity to work with Interns across the PVH brands on community outreach.

POSITION SUMMARY:

The intern will be supporting Tommy Jeans designers in all our daily functions. Our team consists of two parts; Denim & Indigo product for Mens and Womens, and Non-denim product (knits and fleece) for Mens only. Our intern gets to work on all product segments during their time with us. We are always excited to have creative people working with us- who are flexible, eager to learn, and enthusiastic about our brand!

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES OF THE JOB:

Support in building color & concept presentations, sketch review presentations, and denim layouts.
Organizing & maintaining the denim closet.
Assisting during fittings and making comments in PLM system.
Researching ideas and designs for seasonal concepts.
Working with denim designers on wash comments, and denim mock-ups.
Assist designers with flat sketches in Illustrator & Photoshop, and creating line sheets in Bridge.
Various administrative support as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
Adobe Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator), CAD

* All Design candidates must upload a portfolio or design samples.
*Please note that applicants must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program during the 2020 semester. A candidate's application acknowledges that they will be available to intern a minimum of five full days per week throughout the duration of the program which lasts from June-August.
