Responsible for the oversight of PVHs financial systems, which include SAP GL and EPM (Essbase, HFM). Provides leadership and strategic direction for the global financial systems strategy, governance, functional support, and related system implementation activities. As a key business partner, this role serves as a leadership liaison between PVHs global Finance and Accounting teams and the IT organization.
Provide oversight for financial systems analysis, design, development, testing, implementation, documentation, and support of technical solutions within EPM and SAP GL and other supporting business applications (Workday, Costar, etc.).
Evaluate and coordinate the implementation of system enhancements, upgrades, updates, patches, and fixes to assure optimal system performance, data integrity, and reliability.
Benchmark, analyze, report and make recommendations for system improvements.
Lead the global financial consolidation process, including maintenance and monitoring of interfaces/uploads from GL to HFM and Essbase.
Ensure consistent application and ongoing maintenance, mapping and governance of master data utilized in the consolidations and GL systems (profit centers, chart of accounts, etc.).
Develop and maintain reports as needed for internal and external financial reporting.
Maintain and validate currency conversion for foreign entities in HFM and Essbase.
Ensure access to financial systems is appropriate, including review of system access requests and completion of an annual security recertification process.
Provide expertise to support acquisition integration and realization of business requests and technical design specifications.
Streamline, strengthen and maintain SOX compliance requirements and documentation related to financial systems.
Serve as hands-on escalation point to identify and suggest approaches to resolve reporting and project related issues.
Plan, design and develop training materials and execute training sessions for end users as needed.
Manage professional development of a team of 7, providing mentoring and timely feedback on performance as well as opportunities to develop through training and involvement in projects.
Assist with special projects, as needed.
Experience: 10+ years in financial systems or finance/accounting role(s) within a large, multi-national company, with significant experience leading a team responsible for implementation and maintenance of financial systems and providing systems support to financial reporting and FP&A functions.
Education: Minimum Bachelors Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Management Information Systems.
