POSITION SUMMARY:

The Performance Product Manager will take innovation strategy and overall business objectives and combine them with whitespaces we are uniquely suited to solve. The result: well-articulated product concepts, formulated with clear goals and benefits that ladder into a cohesive line. He or she will contribute to bringing together departments from around the company to ensure that our products are relevant, beautiful and timely.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES OF THE JOB:
Create and execute a strategic road map of innovation for Calvin Klein Performance.
Build a pipeline of product addressing current and future customer needs through innovative solutions.
Work with consumer insights on market opportunities and macro trends to identify and quantify white space and consumer needs.
Collaborate with underwear and swim product managers ensuring synergy with big innovation stories across all close to body categories.
Adapt and apply a product readiness level scale to performance in order to drive seasonless development.
Attend all product development meetings including fittings and stand-up meetings.
Establish regular check points with in season teams to seamless transition product from advanced concepts to in season teams.
Drive monthly strategy meetings with advanced concepts cross-functional team.
Create sell-in tools to communicate benefits and technology to internal partners.
Collaborate with the marketing teams to have legally approved names and assets at line adoption. Storytelling is critical from the start of development.
Collaborate with product testing team to establish a testing process for performance.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
Experience: 5 - 7 years of experience in Merchandising and/or Product
Development

Education: Bachelors Degree required in Merchandising or related field

Skills:
Excellent influencing and negotiating skills
Team player and highly collaborative
Strong product sensibility
Strong problem solving, interpersonal and organizational skills
High level of analytical skills
Excellent written/verbal communication and presentation skills
Experience with agile methodologies(i.e. Scrum, Kanban)
