The Team


The Ecommerce (Ecom) Team is responsible for managing the European own and operated tommy.com and calvinklein.com sites across all European markets. The team operates all necessary functions to manage the Ecom business end-to-end. Both brands are growing in a fast pace and have very ambitious growth targets for the coming years. The team consists of approx. 100+ people and will grow significantly until the end of the year. Furthermore, team members are of various cultural backgrounds and nationalities, all highly motived and skilled as well as inspiring to work with.

As the own and operated Ecom business is one of the main growth opportunities for both brands, there is a high focus in the organization to support the Ecom growth. One of the key pillars is to drive a more data decision driven culture within the team. Thus, we want to scale up our analytical capabilities. In addition, there are lots of projects running covering the entire Ecom value chain which will improve e.g. operational processes, bring innovations and new features, investigate new market and business model opportunities.

We are looking for an E-Commerce Operations Manager who leads the Operational roadmap resulting in excellent operational processes and a competitive advantage for the Tommy Hilfiger and Calvin Klein Ecom business.

The Position



Responsible for developing and executing the Ecommerce Operations Strategy inline with the overall Ecommerce Strategy.

Manage and develop a team of around 4 people.

Drive ongoing improvement of operational processes to deliver efficiencies, ensuring consistency across the entire operation and minimizing time spent on processes allowing for more time to maximize sales opportunities.

Be an Ecommerce Operations champion for the team to help lead the strategic development of the Ecommerce activity.

Contribute insight into the strategic direction of the Ecom team through understanding of the complexity of all different aspects of the business

Responsible for managing the order and return flow from a logistics and finance perspective.

Logistics carrier set-up based on country preference, benchmarking, and cost versus benefit strategy.

Develop knowledge of possible back end logistics systems that support, conversion, exchanged customer lifetime cycle and return processes.

Responsible for coordinating and managing the relationship with the warehouse.

Responsible for all logistics customer touchpoints.

Organize and lead the operational meetings with the Warehouse team.

Responsible for coordinating and managing the relationship with the external vendors.

Responsible for improving and optimizing the order and return flow from a logistics and finance perspective through the use of contemporary innovations, new systems and procedures.

Resolve shop issues and problems with the Ecommerce Platform Manager, seeking best practice to achieve a solution without adding further complexity to processes or systems operation.

Work with Analytics team to enhance the Calvin Klein and Tommy Hilfiger Ecom shops and increase revenue and profitability.

Lead and drive operational projects as required in the development of the departmental objectives.


The Ideal Candidate



5+ years proven operational experience in an E-commerce role.

Understanding of Ecommerce fulfilment process and how to achieve cost effective business solutions while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.

Great project management skills

Knowledge of logistics as well as payment processing operations

Team Management experience

Ability to effectively coach colleagues and communicate with senior management.

Ability to build external and internal relationships and partnerships

Ability to plan, prioritize and manage multiple tasks and deliver to tight deadlines
