POSITION SUMMARY:
The Product Regulations Manager researches, evaluates, and communicates regulatory requirements for PVHs products. The Manager coordinates across businesses and cross functional partners and drives policy-making on PVH product standards to achieve global compliance. The manager also supports efforts to achieve PVHs chemical management commitment and other strategic priorities.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES OF THE JOB:
Research product regulatory requirements to support PVHs global footprint
Gather and evaluate information on global product requirements, which includes but is not limited to, labeling, packaging, product safety, sustainability, marketing claims, circularity
Work with PVH Legal and outside counsel to verify legality of requirements
Engage with PVH Customs Compliance and Logistics to verify import legislation
Partner with PVH global QA team to ensure legal requirements are interpreted correctly within the QA process and that the Global Quality Manual is updated appropriately
Lead to establish PVH standards based on PVHs Guiding Principles to achieve global compliance
Communicate requirements
Lead monthly global compliance meetings to communicate updated requirements and ensure all PVH businesses/brands are in compliance
Provide updated requirements in a clear and timely manner to internal and external partners: Divisions/Brands, Supply Chain, Label/Packaging Suppliers, Vendors
Arrange training sessions as needed to ensure requirements are understood and executed by the businesses
Create SOPs and maintain tools and guidelines
Create SOPs to ensure cross functional partners are clear of escalation and execution processes, so requirements can be researched and communicated in a timely and efficient manner
Lead PVHs global labeling initiative through management of the manual, translation tools, and labeling guidelinesObtain and maintain necessary translations
Work with Label/Packaging Suppliers to have artworks updated with new requirements
Support businesses with questions regarding labeling
Update Global Care Label Manual as needed
Set up and execute an auditing protocol to ensure SOPs and compliance matters are being followed appropriately
Support efforts to works towards PVHs chemical management commitment
Support SVP on chemical management related work which includes, but is not limited toFollow up on RSL product compliance with internal/external partners
Strategize on implementation of MRSL with supply chain partners
Partner with Corporate Responsibility team as needed
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
Experience:
5-7 years in related field
Education:
Bachelors Degree or experience that equates
Skills:
Work experience in an international organization
Knowledge of apparel and/or hardlines regulatory and safety requirements preferred
Demonstrated research, technical writing, and communication skills
Strong analytical skill to take complex information and form recommendations
Solid organizational skills and ability to influence and resolve differing viewpoints
Strong MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint
