Our newly built PVH Campus of the Future in located in the Houthavens area of Amsterdam, and was opened over the course of 2016 2018. The buildings unify all departments into a single, centralized location to consolidate operations, increase efficiencies and foster a family spirit. The campus is designed tostimulate innovation, teamwork and collaboration, and support further company growth.

The Campus consists of four state-of-the-art buildings and is approximately 47,000 m2 in size. The location boasts offices / showrooms /Peoples Place Cafes, and is home to 1,800 Tommy Hilfiger and Calvin Klein associates.

The Campus is run by the Facilities Department, consisting of 5 teams: Back Office, Service Team, Project Team, Reception and Security. The team is 36 (full-time) people strong, and is supplemented by additional outsourced security, reception and cleaning personnel. The departments goal is to provide consistent quality and excellent service to all associates and guests. The Facilities Department is also responsible for providing and maintaining office supplies, mail services, security, furniture, moving services, renovations, and maintenance, etc.







The Position
The Security Manager, Facilities aim is to create and foster a hospitable environment in our offices by focusing on delivering excellent service through our reception and security hosts, as well as providing a safe and healthy work environment for our associates. They will also administer security plans through the usage of security best practices, physical security access controls, alarm response/monitoring, investigations, vulnerability assessment and all compliance and risk aspects of corporate security. The Security Manager, Facilities acts as Head of the ERO-Team (Hoofd BHV) and own all Emergency Plans, Emergency Maps, training of ERO-team members, planning and conducting of regular Emergency Drills, etc. This role will collaborate with external groups (e.g., federal, state, local law enforcement and emergency services) as well as partner with cross-functional groups / internal stakeholders.

The Security Manager, Facilities reports into the Senior Director, Facilities. Directly, the Security Manager, Facilities manages 1 Manager, Reception and 4 Security Hosts / Coordinators. Indirectly, this role is supervising and directing contracted security and reception staff.

Key Responsibilities:


Manage site physical security to include corporate security relationship of third-party guard service, as well as site physical security assessments and audits. Collaborate with vendors and contractors to assist with physical security design and buildouts of current and new facilities to ensure security design standards are followed

Monitor, audit, and oversee building access controls to ensure all employees, onsite suppliers and contractors have the right access and understand our policy. This includes real-time monitoring as well as conducting regular audits

Monitor and respond to facility and building alarms and follow process and procedures to ensure physical security teams and appropriate staff are aware and responding in a timely manner

Assumes direct on-the-scene management of any major incidents such as fire, accident, or serious workplace incidents until relieved by external emergency personnel

Program, troubleshoot, schedule and oversee maintenance of all security and video management systems for the Campus buildings in line with corporate Security policies, including but not limited to:



access control software
intruder alarm systems
fire alarm systems
video monitoring software
parking management tools
visitors registration tools




Maintain all aspects of cross-control (associates, contractors, visitors etc.) ensuring timely activation / deactivation of access rights.

Monitor Security and Health & Safety aspects, including but not limited to:




Fire safety hazards
Emergency Response Organization means and resources
Crisis management / lock down protocols
Event security




Issue, conduct and monitor RI&E and User permit related scans for all locations in Amsterdam. Work with outside consultants and vendors as appropriate for independent security and H&S audits

Act as first-contact for our internal Emergency Response Organization and ensure all members of this organization are trained and certified properly

Conduct investigations into security and Health & Safety incidents including camera review and completion of appropriate documentation in coordination with HR / Insurance/ Risk Control / Legal


Remain current with latest security technology trends and work closely with IT Security, legal and Technology department in implementing this technology while complying to GDPR and other (internal) compliance and security protocols



The Ideal Candidate

Education: HBO Facility Management and/or (Integrale) Veiligheidskunde.

Minimum of 5 years of security experience with a corporation and/or law enforcement, or private security organization with a minimum of 3 years of experience working within a security operations center and/or supervising a site physical security team within a corporate or government agency environment

Trained and certified as Emergency Response Officer (BHV) and preferably as a Head of Emergency Response Organisation/Hoofd BHV or Ploegleider BHV

Experience managing a team

Strong (business level) English, both written and spoken

Native / fluent Dutch language skills, both written and spoken

Demonstrated experience with mitigating security risks, threat management, loss prevention, security technology integration, incident response, and contract / vendor management & oversight

Corporate investigations experience

Familiarity with confidential security programs to include innovative technology and processes and industry/ISO standards relating to security / incident management

The ability to be flexible and work through the absence of established processes

The ability to be on call 24/7 to respond to company-related security incidents and to travel domestically and internationally as needed

Strong judgement and decision-making skills

A proven track record in successfully earning / building trust with relevant stakeholders, colleagues, and peers

Experience in emergency response planning, incident management and reporting.

Excellent knowledge of security protocols and procedures. Experience in and/or knowledge of crisis management protocols is a pro
