The Senior Accounts Payable Merchandise Assistant will be responsible for handling more intricate vendor accounts and will be resolving discrepancies between vendor's invoice and receiving records.
Additional responsibilities include:
Data entry of vendor invoices.
Resolve discrepancies between vendors invoice and receiving records.
Review and reconcile vendor statements.
Handle all vendor correspondence including phone, written and email communication.
Assist with filing of invoices and daily reports.
Training of new associates.
Lead and guide team members and assistwith problems to seek resolution
Assist with vendor setups, markdown allowances, and other duties when Manager is not available.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
Experience: At least 3 years previous experience in related field
Education:Minimum of High school diploma. Business or accounting experience a plus.
Working knowledge of SAP S4 Fashion system
Clear communication skills both verbal and written
Data entry skills
Basic PC knowledge
Good organizational skills
Attentive to detail and accuracy
Candidate must be able to work independently
Working knowledge of basic Excel and Word
