The Team
The Ecommerce Team is responsible for managing the European own and operated Tommy.com sites across all European markets. The team operates all necessary functions to manage the Ecommerce business end-to-end. Tommy.com are growing in a fast pace and have very ambitious growth targets for the coming years. The team consists of approx. 80+ people and will grow significantly until the end of the year. Furthermore, team members are of various cultural backgrounds and nationalities, all highly motived and skilled as well as inspiring to work with. As the own and operated Ecommerce business is one of the main growth opportunities, there is a high focus in the organization to support this growth. One of the key pillars is to drive success through traffic and to become a data decision driven culture within the team. Thus, we want to scale up our internal capabilities. In addition, there are lots of projects running that supports performance initiative including data modelling, automation, enhancement of first party data, cloud base bidding, CMS development.
The Position
The Tommy Hilfiger SEO Manager will report into the Senior Traffic manager. The SEO Manager will be responsible for delivering Organic Search traffic and net sales targets for the brand, together with her/his manager.
Key Responsibilities:
Accelerate the tommyhilfiger.com EMEA business through Organic Search (Google, Bing and Yandex)
Bring the best in-class SEO from a technical, on and off-site standpoint
Ensure optimal ranking and visibility for the relevant keywords with the aim to drive long-term and sustainable growth
Creation of the channel strategy & underlying roadmap taking into consideration priorities, seasonality and search trends
Build on current technology capabilities to ensure scalability and efficiency of optimization
Manage direct communication and work closely with the internal stakeholders in order to deliver projects from start to end (Content, UX, POs, PR, Site Merchandisers)
Build business cases in order to justify development resource and project priorities
Conduct end-to-end SEO testing and validation for SEO related tickets
Work with the Senior Manager to build an ambitious but realistic traffic forecast based on the short and long-term initiatives
Build synergy and new ways of working with the SEA team to strategically drive success within the search results page
Be on top of performance results with strong analytical skills
Liaise with other channels to maximize consumer touchpoints and journeys
Nurture the internal SEO Specialist team providing directional support and personal growth
The Ideal Candidate:
3-5 years SEO/Organic Search, with extensive experience in SEO
Working experience with BrightEdge (or other SEO keyword ranking tools), WebMaster Tools, Screaming Frog, MOZ, Keyword Planner, AdWords tools, DataStudio
Proficient in number crunching in Excel and experience with analytics tool such as Google Analytics and Adobe Analytics
Strong technical skills (html, javascript) with a good understanding of content
Excellent project coordination skills and the ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines
Strong verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail & accuracy
Ability to work well independently as well as in a team
