<p>As an analytics leader for Tommy.com, the Manager, Ecommerce Business Intelligence will establish a reliable and ongoing analytics and action model for maximizing product selling and inventory opportunities across site merchandising. By analyzing trends, navigating large data sets from different sources, and constructing scenario models based on the rapidly developing needs of the business, this position will identify opportunities and recommend tactics to drive demand and conversion. The role requires a detailed, efficient, and strategic thinker who possesses a hands-on approach with analysis, excelling in data visualization and presentation.</p><p></p><p><span class="emphasis-3"><b>Responsibilities:</b></span></p><ul><li>Leads data analysis from multiple sources (looking at both demand and net) and manages cross-functional peer workstreams to optimize site merchandising based on user behavior and assortment/investment/inventory strategies</li><li>Analyzes ecommerce and retail KPIs, as well as competitive insights, to design and drive optimization plans within the site merchandising team</li><li>Manages product taxonomy structure in Adobe to align to product taxonomy sets housed in inventory and order management tools and systems to allow for efficient data analyses</li><li>Owns subject matter expertise and leads cross-functional teams to deliver and maintain consistent dashboard models around site search, shopping page optimization, and A/B testing initiatives</li><li>Identifies any gaps or needs within site taxonomy by collaborating with digital merchandising, buyers, and SEO</li><li>Delivers product performance insights to facilitate SEO, media planning, and strategy</li><li>Represents as integration lead over product analytics on ERP and software integration</li></ul><p></p><p><span class="emphasis-3"><b>Qualifications:</b></span></p><ul><li>Bachelors degree</li><li>4+ years of E-commerce Merchandise Planning, Buying, or Finance & Management consulting</li><li>1+ years of E-commerce experience is required</li><li>Experience with inventory management over apparel and accessories and a foundation in ecommerce (Retail math and E-commerce KPI application)</li><li>Strong knowledge of apparel merchandising & digital sales and traffic behavior</li><li>Adept and comfortable working with large data sets</li><li>Skilled at translating data analyses into actionable business opportunities</li><li>Experience with independently learning new systems and software</li><li>Advanced Microsoft Office products Excel (Advanced), Word, PowerPoint (Intermediate+)</li><li>Experience with Adobe Analytics and/or Google Analytics</li><li>Experience working in SAP (or other ERP system) and other data warehouse concepts a plus</li><li>Process and execution manager over merchandise and behavioral analytics.
