<p><b><span>The Team </span></b></p><ul><li><span>This candidate will be part of PVH Turkey Sourcing Technical Team.</span></li></ul><p><b><span>The Position</span><span> </span></b></p><ul><li><span>Assist in evaluating, measuring and fit testing all samples to ensure they conform to the specification requirements before submission to designer team. Approve fit sample, pre-production samples and size-set samples</span></li></ul><p></p><p>Key responsibilities:</p><p></p><p><u>Development </u></p><ul><li>Measure and review sample patterns against production patterns as needed, review style details against style packages and fit all samples on standard mannequin. Provide accurate measurement record and sample assessment comments highlighting all points in PLM.</li><li>Give corrective action comments to vendor on sample fitting and paper pattern correction where necessary. Ensure vendors have all the necessary information and clear understanding to create 1st Proto samples. Provide technical support and advice to vendors and work closely with our designers/technical team to ensure samples are correct to design requirement and on time sample approval.</li><li>Review and ensure all corrective action as requested by designer team/technical team has been taken by vendors prior to next round of sample submission. Ensure continuity and maintain approved fit standards as per the designer team/technical team requirements. Review designer team/technical team comments and provide additional information to ensure clear understanding as necessary.</li><li>Conduct risk assessment. Work closely with product managers & Amsterdam teams to capture, troubleshoot & resolve any product related risks during the development process.</li><li>Adhere to critical path, both internally and externally to support the development and production of the collection achieving on time for delivery at all stages of the process.</li><li>Support supplier with PLM training and onboarding. Work within our PLM system to ensure data integrity.</li></ul><p></p><p><u>Communication</u></p><ul><li>Communicate with designers, technical team and vendors via written or oral communication channels. Work with merchandising teams to ensure punctual sample submission and approval</li></ul><p></p><p><b>The Ideal Candidate </b></p><p></p><p>Position Requirements</p><p></p><p>Experience:</p><ul><li>3 - 5 years industry experience required and must have good fitting & pattern knowledge. The ideal candidate should have 5+ years experience in technical development, pattern knowledge, sourcing and production. Having production experience.</li><li>Must be experienced, skilled and knowledgeable within technical development of Kids, Menswear, Womenswear (in Jersey, woven products preferably). Must be experienced and knowledgeable within garment construction, fitting, pattern, grading and yarn. With on the ground manufacturing experience preferred. Have experience developing best practice solutions.</li></ul><p>Education:</p><ul><li>Apparel Technical qualification University degree or Higher.</li></ul><p>Skills: </p><ul><li>An understanding of pattern making & 3D a knowledge of Gerber & Browzeware systems is advantageous.</li><li>Good level of communication & written skills in English.</li><li>Strong communication skills.</li><li>Paying attention to details, attentive, prone to teamwork.</li><li>Open to self-improvement and education.</li><li>Being customer, quality and process oriented. Having planning and organizational skills.
