<p><b>POSITION SUMMARY: </b></p><p>The Supply Associate s responsible for sourcing in conjunction with the product development process under the direction of the Supply Director.</p><p></p><p><b>PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES OF THE JOB: </b></p><div><ul><li>Collaborate with Supply Manager and Design on R&D</li><li>Collaborate with Supply Manager in the research and development of new sourcing opportunities</li><li>Develop and maintain tracking reports for research, developments, trim and proto related to new Development</li><li>Collaborate with Supply Manager to create costing file & cost analysis related to all new developments as well as comparisons to previous product and close SMS / Bulk / AA costing.</li><li>Maintain updated information via systems (XPC/PDM/PLM) re dev. chart, costing, proto tracking, testing & risk assessment, product allocation</li><li>Supporting manager with projects for upper management business review /meeting plan</li><li>Organize and maintain business record for future development reference and business history review</li><li>Escalate unresolved issues to upper management for quick solution by all functional teams</li><li>Receive, distribute, and send parcels for the department</li><li>Working with counterparts to resolve development and production issues</li><li>Daily follow up/email communications with cross functional team on and off shore</li><li>Lead late development process post SMS as well as line finalization</li><li>Support Manager for Cross Functional meetings internally and externally</li><li>Review Time & Action internally and externally</li><li>Support Supply Team Projects as needed i.e. Seasonal Audit, Sample tracking</li><li>Handle other responsibilities and projects as assigned</li></ul></div><p></p><p><b>QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:</b></p><p></p><p><b>Experience: </b>2+ years Supply Chain experience</p><p><b> </b></p><p><b>Education: </b>College Degree, or prior work experience, preferred</p><p></p><p><b>Skills: </b></p><div><ul><li>Excellent organizational skills</li><li>Proficient in Microsoft Excel</li><li>Communications skills and interpersonal skills</li><li>Ability to multi-task and take initiative in busy environment</li><li>Knowledge of denim washing & processing preferred, but not required</li></ul><p></p></div><p><b>Internal: </b>Design Team, Technical Design Team, Sales and Merchandising Team</p><p></p><div><p><b>External: </b>Overseas/Hub merchandisers</p><p></p></div><p><b>SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:</b></p><p></p><p><b>Direct: </b>N/A</p><p></p><div><p><b>Indirect: </b>N/A</p></div><p></p><p><b>BUDGETARY RESPONSIBILITIES: </b>N/A</p><p></p><p><b>DECISION MAKING: </b>Minimal decision making will be required initially but as there is increased familiarity with the role, decision making will be required with regards to style allocation and development opportunities.</p><p></p><p><b>RESOURCEFULNESS/CREATIVITY: </b>Detail oriented, innovative traits are necessary. Must be able to problem solve and offer solutions to improve efficiencies.
