<p>The Planner will be an active partner in managing the OTB aspect of the business preparing forecasts and evaluating performance. Protect TH interests while maximizing profitability and minimizing liabilities. Create business plans in accordance with the divisional and corporate goals.</p><p></p><p></p><p><span class="emphasis-3"><b>RESPONSIBILITIES: </b></span></p><p></p><ul><li>Create OTB worksheets, present at monthly business meetings and provide information and strategic initiatives to upper management; create business plans on a departmental level; own item plans at the core and key program level</li><li>Analyze and prepare hindsight documents to measure past performance to inform future planning & buys</li><li>Analyze & communicate by sales/stock performance by door group/promotional tier</li><li>Manage the pricing and promotion execution in theIP system</li><li>Secure financial documents and reconcile monthly on order/receipt flow</li><li>Partner with Merchandising to formulate pre-season sales/GM/Inventory Flow Objectives that tie to the topline benchmark metrics and present strategies to upper management</li><li>Partner with Merchandising to build buy worksheets that tie to topline metrics</li><li>Meet with cross-functional teams to manage the day-to-day business from a pricing/ promotion and inventory/sales/GM perspective as well as make recommendations on strategies to improve the business.</li><li>Review data outside of scope of immediate duties to understand the bigger picture</li><li>Work on divisional/corporate projects as necessary</li></ul><p></p><p></p><p><span class="emphasis-3"><b>QUALIFICATIONS:</b></span><b> </b></p><ul><li>Bachelors degree</li><li>4+ years of Merchandise Planning experience, preferably in a 100% vertical retail setting (demand side driven)</li><li>Previous internship experience in Planning, a plus</li><li>Retail math background</li><li>Analytical skills</li><li>Organizational and communication skills</li><li>Ability to work cross functionally as well as with upper management</li><li>Computer Proficiency: Excel, Word, Power Point, IP; JDA experience, a plus</li><li>Responsible to hold to their departments buy and inventory budgets</li><li>In conjunction with their direct manager, make departmental recommendations (e.g., buy-in choices)</li><li>Ability to handle multiple tasks/projects with adherence to deadlines and budgets</li><li>Creative thinker and effective collaborator with their departmental team</li><li>Must be able to find the best solutions and develop methods to improve efficiency</li><li>Ability to work in a fast paced, ever changing environment</li></ul><p></p><div class = "countryDisclaimer"> <p style="font-style: italic;">PVH Corp. or its subsidiary ("PVH") is an equal opportunity employer and considers all applicants for employment on the basis of their individual capabilities and qualifications, consistent with applicable law and without regard to race, color, sex, gender identity or expression, age, religion, creed, national origin, citizenship status, sexual orientation, genetic information, physical or mental disability, military status or any other characteristic protected under federal, state or local law.
