<p><b>POSITION SUMMARY:</b></p><p></p><p>The <b>Manager of Health and Safety</b> will direct and own responsibility for the development and continuous improvement and execution of health, safety and environmental policies and procedures for all corporate and retail operation locations.</p><p></p><p>The position will provide support to all Safety and Health and Wellness activities and programs for the retail stores. It will also provide support to the retail store leadership team in achieving their goals to eliminate work related injuries and achieve world class safety cultures, which include evaluation of the worksite, training in safety and OSHA related matters, proactive analysis of loss experience and recommendation regarding worksite safety practices.</p><p></p><p><b>JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:</b></p><ul><li>Develop, direct and lead division health and safety (H&S) strategy, programs, initiatives and overall H&S division direction</li><li>Promote world class safety culture by raising expectations across the division and set standards to maintain and assess a robust, effective EHS Management System</li><li>Direct initiatives aimed at improving the safety culture across the organization consistent with company principles and values</li><li>Develops and implements company health and safety procedures, processes, and programs which ensure the safety of the operations, which are compliant with OSHA and other local, state, and federal rules and regulations</li><li>Develops and implements safety awareness programs, which are behavior-based and contribute to increased awareness of core safety program elements.</li><li>Participate in the investigation, documentation and analysis of accidents and injuries and maintains a follow-up system to ensure corrective action is promptly implemented.</li><li>Responsible for serving as a technical resource to support associates, at all levels, on safety-related issues</li><li>Analyzes and assesses safety trend data to drive safety resource allocation, and ergonomic initiatives to reduce injuries.</li><li>Maintain a good relationship with Workers Compensation TPAs and assists Claim Manager in managing claims, including return to work practices</li><li>Facilitates, develops and maintains existing safety programs</li><li>Maintains division OSHA log, written safety plans, training records and other reporting requirements</li><li>Safety leader for retail stores</li><li>Conducts/participates in site meetings and promotes an open line of communication with other team members</li><li>Complete special assignments and projects on an as needed basis</li><li>Supervise Analyst</li></ul><p></p><p><b>QUALIFICATIONS:</b></p><ul><li>Bachelors degree in Safety Management, EH&S, Engineering, or other relevant technical fields required</li><li>5 -7 years experience related to safety and/or occupational health, preferably in a retail environment</li><li>Corporate subject matter expert in Health, Safety and Environmental topics including OSHA</li><li>Experience in managing health & safety programs in a multi-facility company</li><li>Experience in implementing safety culture improvement programs preferred</li><li>Certified Safety Professional (CSP) designation preferred</li><li>Proficiency in MS office and safety management information systems.</li><li>Exceptional organizational and communications skills</li><li>Proven leadership skills, ability to foster employee engagement</li><li>Experience leading and developing remote and off-site team of safety of professionals</li><li>Knowledgeable in Workers Compensation case management including transition to work programs</li><li>Ability to work independently, with minimum supervision, under the guidance of the Director , Risk Management within the stated objectives and guidelines of the company</li><li>Be able to travel as needed</li></ul><div class = "countryDisclaimer"> <p style="font-style: italic;">PVH Corp. or its subsidiary ("PVH") is an equal opportunity employer and considers all applicants for employment on the basis of their individual capabilities and qualifications, consistent with applicable law and without regard to race, color, sex, gender identity or expression, age, religion, creed, national origin, citizenship status, sexual orientation, genetic information, physical or mental disability, military status or any other characteristic protected under federal, state or local law.
