<p><b><b>POSITION SUMMARY: </b></b></p><p>Responsible for generating ideas and solving complex problems from the yarn level to finished goods, across all product categories that fit the aesthetics, fit and function requirements for the <b><b>Calvin Klein brand</b></b>. This individual will need to develop product across a wide range of categories in partnership with the special projects design, marketing, and advanced concepts teams.</p><p></p><p><b><b>PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES OF THE JOB: </b></b></p><p></p><ul><li>Drive new innovation and change management for the product development processes</li><li>Research and drive new solutions and strategies for sustainability as it applies to the product life-cycle</li><li>Lead and execute front-end product development for multi-category special projects</li><li>Drive collaboration projects that are unique to the industry</li><li>Attend key meetings and partner with design leads, marketing, legal, overseas PVH offices and garment mills/ vendors</li><li>Partner with Design to create and maintain pre-seasonal raw material portfolios, identifying where new R&D or innovation is required</li><li>Partner with Raw Materials and Packaging to develop leveraged, on-trend toolboxes for each product class, allowing maximum agility in a short lead-time calendar</li><li>Ensure raw material certification and claims for marketing are completed accurately and efficiently to meet calendar deadlines</li><li>Manage cost and speed maximization</li><li>Assess and mitigate risk with regard to raw material component development / selection, partner with TD and QA team for resolution</li><li>Own business relationships with various cross-functional partners including Supply and Supply Strategy</li><li>Partner seamlessly with Senior Manager, Sourcing Special Projects</li><li>Operate with a continuous improvement, agile mindset</li><li>Will lead and manage product creation relationships with L1 and L2 suppliers (development through bulk)</li><li>Will lead and manage product development solutions through technical expertise on Raw Material, Product construction and industry capabilities.</li><li>Provide technical solutions for business requirements on product functionality and speed to market initiatives.</li></ul><p></p><p></p><p><b><u><b>________________________________________________________</b></u></b></p><p><b><b>QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:</b></b></p><p></p><p><b><b>Experience: </b></b></p><ul><li>Minimum 8-10 years of experience in raw materials sourcing and development / or overall knits, wovens, or performance product development a diversified product background is desired</li><li>Prior experience working in an overseas factory or garment mill is desired</li></ul><p></p><p><b><b>Education: </b></b>BA, BS or MBA preferred</p><p></p><p><b><b>Skills: </b></b></p><ul><li>Analytical and strategic skillset with ability to solve complex issues</li><li>Cutting edge materials development expertise; Understanding of cutting edge raw material manufacturing technologies</li><li>Raw materials expertise is required</li><li>Change management and project management experience</li><li>Strong understanding of costing and pricing, operations, and financial processes and impact</li><li>Creative, design mindset</li><li>Familiarity with sustainable materials and product development life-cycle</li><li>Knowledge of yarn properties and their effect on resulting textile structures</li><li>Familiarity with material laboratories and companies that can provide testing solutions in this space</li><li>Experienced in raw material development costing, as an input to product creation and price structure of garment FOB</li><li>Expert understanding of industrial test methods and standards</li><li>Ability to communicate effectively and work under tight timelines and with limited information</li><li>Strong verbal and written communication skills including meeting facilitation and presentations</li><li>High tolerance for ambiguity: flexible, with ability to take unclear goals and targets forward by formulating a plan which brings clarity and focus in order to achieve deliverables</li><li><span>Highly effective communication skills;
