Thats the Power of PVH.</p><p></p><p><b>The Team</b></p><p>Part of the Tommy Hilfiger Close to Body team.</p><p></p><p><b>The Position</b></p><p>As a member of the cross-divisional Tommy Hilfiger Close to Body team, the Product Developer is responsible for the product development and its process of women swimwear including cover-ups. As Product Developer you closely work cross divisionally with the fabric team, designers and merchandising teams in order to deliver successful collections that embody the designers vision and still meet the business needs in terms of margins, quality, sustainability and brand identity.</p><p>This position reports into the Product Development Manager Swimwear / Manager Sourcing & Production.</p><p><b>Key Responsibilities:</b></p><ul><li><span>Responsible for development and production of the Swimwear Collection, achieving the highest possible quality and sustainability level</span></li><li><span>Advises Design regarding technical possibilities and limitations</span></li><li><span>Works closely with Design and Material team to develop and select the right Swimwear fabric and develop it into high-quality Swimwear with a sustainable approach, from fabric level up to manufacturing</span></li><li><span>Works with the PVH off-shore offices and direct vendors to control the status and changes to the styles follows up on deadlines for proto samples, sales samples, size sets, and production approval samples</span></li><li><span>Responsible for calendar and process between Merchandise & Design</span></li><li><span>Prepares proto- and other collection development milestone meetings from Product Development perspective</span></li><li><span>Coordinates and ensures that all the systems are updated and matching as per internal information (Centric PLM, VMS, Browzwear, GT Nexus etc.)</span></li><li><span>Responsible for the maintenance of the Tech Packs; CADs, Bill of Materials and size specifications in close collaboration with the Design and the Technical team</span></li><li><span>Takes a pro-active role in continuously improving the product in ways of quality and fit. Searches new innovative ways to enhancing the Swimwear product on fabric-, workmanship, sustainability-, and inclusivity level</span></li><li><span>Communication with: Design, Merchandising, Central sourcing, Material team, Buying Offices, Vendors and Technical team</span></li><li><span>Responsible for reaching the margin target on the product.
