<p><b>POSITION SUMMARY:</b></p><p>The Merchandise Manager is responsible for the product strategy and assortment architecture for Mens Off Price Apparel. They will drive the vision for the assortment line plan and lead the line planning process in order to achieve or exceed annual financial goals. They must also ensure that the line plan addresses all channel needs for North America and the regions.</p><p></p><p><b>PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES OF THE JOB:</b></p><ul><li>Line Architecture<ul><li>Partner with regions to understand and represent the business needs of North America Wholesale, and regional partners.</li><li>Strategically build style/sku needs into one consolidated brand architecture that supports the business.</li><li>Work closely with Design and Supply partners to ensure garment aesthetic and pricing are in line with regional business needs.</li><li>Present sku plan and seasonal strategy to the team.</li><li>Ensure all calendar deliverables are met, ensuring proper preparation for milestone meetings</li><li>Build channel specific product assortment based on account needs, historical analysis, trend and budget.</li></ul></li><li>Build seasonal assortments in partnership with design covering all channel needs from development strategy through buy.<ul><li>Track, Monitor and Recap progress of key items, big ideas, best sellers to strategize towards business growth and future development.</li><li>Influence channels decision making at key milestone meetings</li><li>Conduct continual market and trend research to identify opportunities to grow the business and strengthen the collection.</li><li>Quarterly report outs to cross functional team to provide market feedback</li><li>Ensure seasonal buy is meeting or exceeding margin targets.</li><li>Create and maintain all seasonal reporting documents (line matrix, line decks/margin/strategy and budget template/change log).</li><li>Ensure line matrix and system accuracy (xpc, 7thon line)</li><li>Manage product development calendar deliverables</li></ul></li><li>Support to Sales Team on all Market Needs<ul><li>Procurement/Communication of all sales samples</li><li>Build accurate and detailed Collateral to support the Sales team in market (Line Lists, Assortment Guides).</li><li>Showroom Set up.</li><li>Partner with sales to identify exclusive product needs.</li><li>Conduct regular check ins with the Sales team, as well as attend market appointments where applicable.</li></ul></li><li>Cross-functional Partnership<ul><li>Attends all internal weekly meetings</li><li>Ability to identify product and program opportunity through selling data, team feedback and analyzing the competitive landscape.</li><li>Lead the teams to meet and deliver on deadlines</li></ul></li></ul><div><p></p></div><p><b>QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:</b></p><p></p><p><b>Experience:</b>5+ years in Wholesale or Retail Merchandising</p><p></p><p><b>Education:</b>Bachelors Degree in related field required</p><p></p><p><b>Skills:</b></p><p></p><p>Consumer centric, with a passion for product</p><p>Strategic thinker who recognizes opportunities and can influence decision makers to move to execution</p><p>Strong product sense with proven experience in driving product assortments that drive business</p><p>Excellent problem solving, interpersonal and organizational skills</p><p>High level of analytical skills and conceptual creative ability</p><p>Excellent written/verbal communication and presentation skills</p><p>Drives focus and clarity amidst multiple, sometimes competing deadlines</p><p>Works autonomously and able to navigate thru ambiguity</p><p>Self-starter with a can do attitude</p><p>Advanced excel skills</p><p></p><div class = "countryDisclaimer"> <p style="font-style: italic;">PVH Corp. or its subsidiary ("PVH") is an equal opportunity employer and considers all applicants for employment on the basis of their individual capabilities and qualifications, consistent with applicable law and without regard to race, color, sex, gender identity or expression, age, religion, creed, national origin, citizenship status, sexual orientation, genetic information, physical or mental disability, military status or any other characteristic protected under federal, state or local law.
