<p><b><i>About</i> THE ROLE</b></p><p>PVH Merchandising is responsible for the budgeting, range building and product trading strategy for the UKIR business. In a constantly changing retail environment they look to drive the optimum assortment for each retail location, based upon: customer profile, sales targets and regional retail landscape.</p><p>Working closely with all key retail stakeholders (buying, retail operations, visual merchandising and store teams) collaboration, strong communication and a passion for opportunity and success are the foundations for this team!</p><p>Reporting into the Head of Merchandising the Senior Merchandiser plays a true leadership role, developing and motivating the wider team whilst driving the merchandising strategy for the channels commercial direction.</p><p></p><p>Responsibilities include:</p><ul><li>Product strategy across the Channel for UK+</li><li>Driving the pre-season planning and in-season trading of the business model (with ownership of sales planning, margin and markdown)</li><li>Setting of budgets, forecasting and management of OTB for Tommy Hilfiger.</li><li>Owning the strategy for commitment and stock targets at division /range /category level.</li><li>Continual review of analysis to ensure the correct balance of history; trend and product strategy within the UK+ product range</li><li>Provide management with reporting and strategic proposals for investment to drive growth and maximise profitability</li><li>Manage allocation and replenishment plans</li><li>Working with retail teams and other merchandise channels to manage terminal stock and exit plans.</li><li>Collaborate closely with buying and marketing teams in establishing of promotional calendar.</li><li>Implementing and exploiting new systems and processes to continually improve the buying-model.</li><li>Working with the Amsterdam division/s to exploit their capability and ensuring ways of working are established in line with the business model.</li></ul><p></p><p><b><i>About</i> YOU</b></p><ul><li>Youll have a proven track record in the role of Merchandiser within a fashion/retail business.</li><li>Youll have strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to build relationships with ease.</li><li>Youll be a commercially astute and confident decision maker, communicating with impact across all levels.</li><li>Youll be a strong team leader with an ability to manage, motivate and work effectively within a small team.</li><li>Youll have in-depth knowledge of the current competitive market place.</li><li>You will work well with change, being able to quickly adapt and work with pace</li></ul><p></p><p><b>About WHAT WE OFFER </b></p><p>At PVH, we understand that the success of our organisation is directly related to our hardworking and dedicated associates who contribute their time and talents to help make our Company the success it is.
